Educational model
Education
At Semper Altius, we provide a personalized, competency-based education that fosters intellectual, personal, and social growth. Our holistic approach includes multilingual immersion in French, English, and Spanish, a globally enriched French curriculum, and small class sizes for individualized support. Beyond academics, we offer diverse extracurricular activities, including sustainability projects, entrepreneurial programs, global exposure, and faith formation, all aimed at developing confident, well-rounded leaders for the future.

Competence-based Education
Competency-based education focuses on learning, not teaching, and its approach is a fundamental tool in our model of integral education, as it promotes knowledge, self-training, the formation of intellectual skills and, above all, the formation of virtues and values.
The competency-based approach enables students to apply their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in various contexts using methods like project-based and problem-based learning. Active participation is essential to integrate intellectual, social, personal, and emotional skills.

Technology
We know that our students are digital natives, so rather than teaching them how to use technology, our programme focuses on encouraging responsible use and the development of critical thinking for research, turning them into responsible digital citizens.
Our model considers technology as a support tool in all subjects, thus achieving the development of advanced digital skills. It responds to international standards by developing the digital and technological skills needed for the future.

Language
In our model, English is not just a subject, but an essential tool for academic success, with a focus on language acquisition and expression. The bilingual system fosters vocabulary growth and proficiency, preparing students for academic and professional challenges. English is learned progressively, starting with natural, immersive methods in preschool, followed by advanced reading resources to enhance vocabulary and language use.

Teachers
We firmly believe that people are the ones who form the students and not the models, therefore we consider the teacher as a fundamental link for each student to achieve their maximum learning.
We encourage the teacher to get to know each student in their interests, desires and abilities,

Family
Our mission of formation is achieved by working together with parents. We reinforce the values and teaching that our students receive at home, which is where the formation of heart and character begins.
We work together in alliance with parents to ensure that their children choose a life of values, offering them training and concrete means to
help them in their work as formators.

Art & Sport
Art, music and culture are present every day in different ways in the classroom. They are included as cross-curricular elements in interdisciplinary projects that allow pupils to express themselves.
Through sport, pupils get to know themselves, learn to overcome challenges, build will and character, as well as develop psychomotor, emotional, social and intellectual aspects.
