Our Story
The Genesis of the project
Semper Altius was founded by Mrs. Diata Coulibaly, a passionate educator with years of experience teaching Spanish in various high schools and colleges across Côte d’Ivoire. After a fulfilling career, she decided to dedicate herself to the education and development of young children. In response to the challenges faced by families in Abidjan, who struggled to find high-quality early childhood care, Mrs. Coulibaly established the Bambolino multilingual daycare center in October 2017.
The daycare aimed to offer a nurturing, multilingual environment for young children to develop both academically and socially.
Given the overwhelming demand from parents seeking a high-quality, multilingual education for their children, the school expanded in 2021 to accommodate students up to CM2 (the final year of primary school).
The goal was to create an inclusive, holistic learning environment that combines academic excellence with personalized support.
With a maximum of 18 students per class, Semper Altius ensures that each child receives individual attention and thrives in a nurturing, supportive environment. The school emphasizes values such as kindness, love, and strong pedagogy, fostering not only intellectual growth but also emotional and social well-being.
